“There are so many words that I can utilized to describe this organization: a blessing, charitable, fundamental, supportive, inspirational and I could go on. Most of my battles tend to be leaving voicemails –  repetitively asking for help – in hopes that by being annoying, I’ll get some answers. It’s exhausting. Autism Society of Greater Detroit not only called me back after listening to my voicemail but did it in less than 2 days.  Thanks for offering support that is targeted to my client’s needs and doesn’t make me rethink why I am in this field.  True Support can be found here! “

“What do you say about a n organization that is moving mountains to connect families to the right resource? I am a single mother that has been just wowed. My son was recently diagnosed at 4yrs old and we have been trying for a long time to get someone to help us figure out this whole Social Security thing.  Trying to figure it out on my own has put a strain on all of us. ASGD connected us with Advocates who were able to walk us through the whole process, free of charge.  They are a Godsend! Best call I every made.”
